After hearing Doiby Dickles relate one of his adventures with Green Lantern to a passenger, the man asks if Dickles might be persuaded to babysit his son for the night. The portly cabbie agrees. Meanwhile, word gets out that Dickles' client was buying stamps on the way home, and gossip gets around, grossly inflating their value. Doiby falls asleep reading Peter Rabbit to the boy, and dreams that six-foot, talking rabbits break into the house and steal the stamps. Doiby and Green Lantern pursue the rabbits to an amusement park and eventually capture them. Despite all the absurd happenings with giant talking rabbits, Doiby eventually realizes he's been wide awake the whole time and these were real gangsters in rabbit suits, trying to play off his thinking it was a dream. The gangsters are mortified to learn the stamps they stole weren't valuable at all, and Doiby faints when it sinks in he hasn't been imagining the whole bizarre adventure.
