The Justice League fights the Rocket Red Brigade. The League wants to escort Hal Jordan out of Russia. The Brigade wants to arrest him for illegally and repeatedly entering their country. During the fight, the League decides to evacuate the unconscious Global Guardians as well. Hal refuses to explain to his teammates what is happening, and tries to fly away. However, Alan Scott intercepts and demands an explanation. Hal says that his friend is lost and he needs to find her. He asks Alan to bring the Global Guardians to Martian Manhunter to undo their brainwashing, and use Checkmate to clear Hal of their murder accusations. Amon Sur attacks Edwards Air Force Base and finds his father's ship. Cowgirl falls into an icy lake while fleeing from a soldier. Hal rescues her, but is then attacked by Dominator bounty hunters. Hunger Dog arrives and incapacitates everyone. He contacts Loragg to inform him that he's captured Hal, and receives information about the employer's drop-off point. Hal awakens in the desert with Amon Sur pointing a gun at him. Amon Sur tells Hal to show him Abin Sur's grave.
