— | StoryTitle1 = Captain Kent the Terrible
Superman returns to present time, but when he shows Perry the Queen's letter, he is surprised to find that the spy has swapped it for a blank piece of paper. A man, who looks familiar, enters Perry White's office with an old letter from Queen Elizabeth, that had been handed down through his family from an ancestor who was a Spanish officer in the 16th century. The letter clears Captain Kent of his bad name, but Perry doubts whether it is genuine. Clark says it is genuine and he would recognize it anywhere. Perry challenges him since the letter is 300 years old and Clark explains that it must be genuine since no one with the family name Kent could be as cruel as Captain Kent was said to be.
