Billy Batson finds a businessman picking up a handful of dirt, saying it's worth amazing real estate and that a square foot of the Station WHIZ building is worth at least $1,000. Billy gets caught up thinking about this until he runs into Mr. Morris as the businessman, Prof. Jonas Jonkman, returns to his Curio Shop, intent on soon owning all of Station WHIZ! Later, Billy finds during a broadcast that his script is turning invisible, then his microphone and the piano in the studio too! He quickly calls SHAZAM to summon Captain Marvel to stop the crew from smashing into the piano with a camera (as the camera turns invisible too.) Jonkman starts to use a big machine to make everything invisible in Station WHIZ so he can then hopefully buy it for a song. A local hotel and a local bookstore realize that these services don't work well when the walls and books turn invisible and Captain Marvel finds himself being plagued by people driving cars that are now turning invisible. A man tries to buy a suit (but it's now invisible,) only to find the reason problem is that whole people are turning invisible now. From the air, Captain Marvel finds that the whole block Station WHIZ is on is turning invisible and spots Jonkman, figuring out he's likely responsible, but Jonkman legs it into the transparent block and turns invisible himself. To track him down, Captain Marvel calls SHAZAM to return Billy, who enters and is now transparent too, able to see Jonkman as he races to turn his machine higher and higher to full power. However, he knocks over a lot of junk in Jonkman's shop and Jonkman bludgeons him with a small vase. Billy wakes up bound and gagged as Jonkman threatens he'll make everything invisible forever when he turns it up and then he'll be able to buy up the blank square where Station WHIZ is. But, in doing so, he finds that he can't see anything there himself and therefore can't kill Billy. Billy manages to slip his gag on a corner of furniture and calls SHAZAM to summon Captain Marvel, who quickly breaks the Invisibility Machine and punches over Jonkman, arresting him for this dangerous nonsense. Later, Billy signs off saying he'll be seeing you!

CGC, CBCS, PSA Universal certified high-grade specimens (9.8 / 9.6 / 9.4). The gold standard for institutional alternative investment.
Official witnessed creator-signed slabs (Yellow label). Valued based on creator historical stature and inscription provenance.
Certified specimens from landmark historical collections (Edgar Church / Mile High, White Mountain, Kansas City, Pacific Coast).
Original newsstand barcode distribution copies. Extremely scarce in high grade due to newsstand rack wear and unsold return pulping.
Regional price test market copies (Canadian 75¢/95¢ variants, Marvel 30¢/35¢ test variants). Highly coveted micro-population rarities.
Exclusively allocated copies requiring retailer orders of 1:25, 1:50, 1:100, or 1:500 standard copies. Immediate manufactured scarcity.

Green label copies with significant manufacturing flaws, unwitnessed signatures, or missing coupons that do not affect the main story.

International editions licensed by La Prensa (Mexico), Editora Abril (Brazil), Panini (Europe), or Titan (UK).
Certified printing oddities (missing foil, inverted interior, double covers, foil color error). Unique curiosity pieces.
Advance promotional black-and-white booklets, ashcans created to secure trademark rights, and preview giveaways.
Each cover variant, retailer incentive, and subsequent printing represents an independent atomic tradeable instrument with unique supply elasticity, barcode registration, and secondary market demand.
Foreign editions (licensed through Panini, Urban Comics, Editorial Novaro, Novedades, Otto Simon, etc.) represent physical tradeable instruments in international secondary markets. Geographic scarcity and currency differentials drive global cross-border arbitrage.
