In Limbo, Illyana tries and fails to restore her scrying mirror. But she learns enough so she can port Gosamyr's stolen space yacht into nearby space. Gosamyr provides the team with new clothes, making Rahne look like Lila. This fails to impress Sam, however, and we learn that Gosamyr has the power to intensify emotions. She uses this to make Roberto and Sam fall for her, and she tricks Dani into creating Rahne's dearest wish: a Sam who is in love in her, but she refuses him because he is supposed to be Lila's boyfriend. Rahne realizes it is a mirage and is angry at Dani; Dani realizes Gosamyr made her do it and is angry at her. An alien spacecraft detains them, and when Dani accidentally offers a bribe to one of its officers, the admiral orders their destruction.
