Continued from last issue... Venom swiftly pins Wolverine to the ground, thinking that he is the one responsible for putting them both in the Dream Realm. Wolverine wriggles free and flips both of them over, and Wolverine hits a tree. Venom says that he doesn't like people playing with his head, and that since Wolverine is responsible, he's going to kill him. Before he can do so, both hear a scream from nearby, and Venom rushes off in search of the source. Wolverine recounts his plan with Professor X to dispel Nightmare from his mind, as Nightmare is the reason that he and Venom are both there. He also realizes that he and Venom are not in Nightmare's realm, but a different astral plane. He decides to find Venom, and he follows Venom's scent. He finally stumbles upon Venom, who is protecting a girl from a group of tigers. Wolverine realizes that the girl is an illusion designed to look just like his former girlfriend Mariko. Venom fights off a lion, and Wolverine takes out one of the tigers. The girl screams in fear, and runs away. As the two fight off the animals, Venom tells Wolverine that he'll do nothing with the girl, as she could be connected to Nightmare, and she may lead them to him. Wolverine tries to follow her, but Venom punches him into a tree, and he is impaled on one of the branches. Venom then webs his hands to the tree, and slashes him across the face with his claws. The story is continued next issue...
