The recovery of third-party encapsulation and grading expenditures when an asset is acquired at a discount below the physical cost of replacement grading fees, shipping, and insurance.
A spaceship crashes and two aliens are found aboard suffering from amnesia. The two aliens, nicknamed Alpha and Beta, are investigated by scientists to try and figure out which planet they're from. During the tests, the scientists occasionally burst into uncontrollable laughter, which is due to the aliens exhaling nitrous oxide. Beta, who is actually a criminal, regains his memories and tries to sneak away, but Alpha regains his memories too after seeing an image of the asteroid belt. It turns out that the aliens had been in suspended animation for thousands of years and their planet was destroyed. Luckily, the aliens then identify signals received from space as coded messages in their language, meaning their people survived and now live in the Vega system.

International editions licensed by La Prensa (Mexico), Editora Abril (Brazil), Panini (Europe), or Titan (UK).
Certified printing oddities (missing foil, inverted interior, double covers, foil color error). Unique curiosity pieces.
Advance promotional black-and-white booklets, ashcans created to secure trademark rights, and preview giveaways.
Each cover variant, retailer incentive, and subsequent printing represents an independent atomic tradeable instrument with unique supply elasticity, barcode registration, and secondary market demand.
Foreign editions (licensed through Panini, Urban Comics, Editorial Novaro, Novedades, Otto Simon, etc.) represent physical tradeable instruments in international secondary markets. Geographic scarcity and currency differentials drive global cross-border arbitrage.
