On Tuesday morning, a young gang member named Baby Bluey shot Lamar Henderson in the arm before Jeff stopped the former from killing the latter. That night, a gang called the Royal Family gathered in a theater and planned to take down Black Lightning in order to protect their illegal business. Black Lightning confronted G-Kool, one of their members, outside of the theater for supplying Baby Bluey with his gun and threatened him, while the police observed. The next morning, Jeff found his classroom vandalized by the Royal Family and in retaliation, he attacked them at a bar that night, as Black Lightning. The next day, Painkiller killed a Royal Family member named Wendell for stealing money and later, Detective Tommy Colavito and Beagle attempted to arrest Black Lightning.
