Bruce has a fever dream of the Els destroying the world and wakes with a start. Raven, a young witch, tells the Kents that he is poisoned and dying. Meanwhile in the Kingdom of the Storms, Ra's al Ghul has successfully restored Prince Jacob to life, but when he asks to see his sisters Ra's and John tell him that he cannot go home as he will be burned as an abomination. John tells Jacob that they will bring down the Els together and Ra's departs to capture the Titans, Raven and the other children living on the Kent Farm. Raven removes a sliver of Kryptonite from Bruce's wound, allowing him to heal. He wakes up and is confronted by Raven and the other Titans. The Titans tell him they considered letting him die for what he's done to people like them, and that he disgusts them for hunting people with powers when he has them himself. They storm out, and Jonathan and Martha tell him that they understand why he fears magic after what the Green Man did to his family, but he needs to learn that not everyone different from normal is dangerous. Kory, one of the Titans, finds one of Bruce's Robins, Richard, sneaking around the farm. Richard tells Bruce that he found a piece of his armour on the side of the road and tracked him to the farm, believing he was being held prisoner. When Richard calls the Titans demons Bruce realises that he has been ungrateful to them and apologises, but the he sees Ra's al Ghul and Talia approaching the farm. Ra's demands the Titans surrender so Bruce, Jonathan and Martha go out to confront them. Ra's unleashes Etrigan, who attacks Bruce, while Jonathan and Martha fight the al Ghul's undead League of Shades soldiers. Bruce is immune to Etrigan's hellfire but gets punched through the wall of the farmhouse. Richard and the Titans join him in battle, with Beast Boy transforming into a dragon. They drive the League away but Richard tells Bruce that King Jefferson is dead and the Kingdom of Storms and Amazons are marching to war against the Lands of El. Richard tells Bruce they need to get back to the palace but Bruce is unwilling to go, believing that he does not belong with the Els. Jonathan tells him that he has the power to prevent the war and he needs to go back.
