Moses Rockwell holds a KKK rally against Green Lantern and the other aliens in the Mosaic, demanding to be returned to Earth. The Klan attacks the Weaver home because they have been housing aliens, but Green Lantern stops the Klansmen. John has them ready to be executed, but instead of giving up to their hatred, he spares them. Later that night, John discuss things with Rose and, before falling asleep, thinks of how Hal's "battles of will and power ring strategy" are usually easier than his current task. John then dreams about the Minister X Men, a comic book team of black-skinned superheroes fighting white supremacists. Suddenly, the "Red Queen" appears to lend a helping hand to the Minister X Men, and asks them to "embrace the red." John recognizes her as Katma Tui, and he wakes up. John tries to understand if Katma was encouraging him to battle by saying "embrace the red." Suddenly, John receives a signal from Kelly, about a fire in Beaver Junction. When John gets there, he expects to see Rockwell's KKK group. To his surprise, he finds the hooded arsonists are aliens.
