Cyborg stops an armored car robbery, but worries that he is not human after hearing his father's secret recorded concerns about whether Victor is man or machine. Sarah takes Victor out to experience his human side, and they meet up with some young fans and a jazz musician who bring out emotions in Victor. Meanwhile, a mysterious adversary (who is a Dr. Silas Stone doppelganger) unleashes a new technological villain against Victor.
Cyborg shows his father his latest upgrade, not knowing an alien race is now in search of that technology.
After a disturbing dream, Cyborg experiments with the new features of his cybernetic tech. By the time Cyborg realizes the dream was a warning that aliens were coming, they have already arrived on Earth.
The aliens arrive, and with the help of the Metal Men, Cyborg is able to hold them off and return to S.T.A.R. Labs, where he finds another ally with a familiar face.

Sarah takes Victor out to experience his human side, and they meet up with some young fans and a jazz musician who bring out emotions in Victor. Meanwhile, a mysterious adversary (who is a Dr. Silas Stone doppelganger) unleashes a new technological villain against Victor.
Before the battle begins again, the Sarah Charles from an alternate reality explains that the alien technology that Silas Stone used to save Vic is what drew the Technosapiens to Earth.
The alternate reality Sarah Charles removes Cyborg, his father, and his Sarah Charles from the fight by taking them to her world where Vic demonstrates his new regeneration ability. After, Cyborg and his comrades return home with a plan.
Cyborg uses his connection to the Technosapiens to re-write their operating systems and delete the cyber-parasite. He now has the ablity to regenerate his fully human body without the cybernetic enhancements, but he's keeping it a secret from everyone.
Victor has nightmares of the Justice League not trusting him because he is not human. After running tests on him, Sarah and Victor go out to a jazz club, where they encounter Britton Claire, a woman who claims to be Victor's ex-girlfriend, but Victor has no memory of her. Victor discovers his father suppressed some of his memories after the accident that transformed him into Cyborg. He asks Dr. Morrow to restore his memories, but things go wrong. Meanwhile, Silas Stone has been captured by a doppelganger who has taken his place.
Malicious code worms in Victor's systems attack his unconscious mind through his nightmares and memories, while Victor's physical body, with Victor's conscious mind not in control, runs amok in S.T.A.R. Labs. Victor's father continues to be held prisoner by his unnamed doppelganger who has taken his place at S.T.A.R. Labs.
Victor takes some time with Blue to get to know the neighborhood and befriends a group of disabled veterans who consider Cyborg to be a role model. The CIA asks Dr. Stone and his team to save the life of a female CIA Agent who was severely injured in a bombing by turning her into a female cyborg. Unknown to all, Dr. Stone has been replaced by his doppelganger who has his own motivations for going through with the procedure, while the real Dr. Stone is held captive by a man/machine hybrid.
