An Agorrian named Darak lands on an unnamed planetoid and just barely manages to get out of his ship to grab his medpack. He tells his Handroid his name which his Handroid advises against given it's against protocol but given he is stuck on a barren planet-like place he claims that "protocol" has gone out the window. Darak then begins trying to repair his ship but finds it is too damage, he then attacked by a female Zertonian, the rival species he is currently at war with. Darak defeats her and she begs for mercy, Darak asks if she would show him mercy if she were in his position and she admits she would not much to Darak's shock that their species can be honest. Darak decides to spare her breaking another of his species' laws, however losing is against one of the Zertonian laws so both of them are technically honor bound to die by each other's laws. However, Darak decides they are more use to one another if they try to combine one another's ships to get off the planet. The two then introduce each other to one another with the Zertonian revealing her name to be Solila. Darak and Solila work together but when they fail Solila gives up and runs away, Darak at first tries to call for her back but decides it's hopeless. After a bit he decides that he won't stop trying to rebuild the ship when Solila comes back and informs him that she found something. Darak follows her and they find an inactive spaceship they use their fuel to activate the ship when suddenly the ship turns into an autonomous organism named Jetfire. Jetfire introduces himself to the two but then realizes he has been stranded on the planetoid for a while and leaves before Dorak can tell him to stay and help. Darak and Solila continue rebuilding the ship but realize to continue they'll have to take off their masks something illegal for both their species. However, with no other choice they do so only to discover they are of the same alien species.
