Elsa Bloodstone assists the Legion of Monsters in subduing a violent citizen. Accidentally trapped in the electrical system after Bloodstone’s explosive arrival, the Dimensional Man berates Morbius and demands to be freed, to little effect. Ogling a recently arrived Elsa, the Dimensional Man harasses her before she shoots the pipe from where his voice emanates. She meets with Morbius, who tells her to expand her search outside the city. She storms off to join the rest of the Legion on motorbikes, flirting with Jack Russell as they ride off in the moonlight. Morbius watches and remembers his time with Susanna, a woman he had helped against a similar threat but perished before he was able to kill the monsters involved, unable to find a nonfatal solution. Manphibian and Living Mummy go to interview the Son of Satan, and Elsa and Jack head to a closed rest area. Jack tells her to wait outside for the sake of her soul as he transforms into the Werewolf by Night, but she follows him in through the mouth of hell. As Daimon begins to help the Legion investigate, he accidentally summons a small black creature that attaches itself to the Living Mummy, filling him with violent rage. Elsa and Jack are surrounded by demons in the realm of fire, but Satannish appears and claims them under his protection, owing a favor to the Werewolf by Night. He introduces them to Hell Eyes, who observes everything, but demands a payment before sharing intel. Jack begins to walk off but Elsa incites the demon, reminding him of his debt. Satannish tells them of the Angel Grove massacre, a mass casualty event involving hundreds of mindless vampires, survived solely by Dracula and Morbius. Calling their deal done, Satannish removes his protection and demons beset Elsa desiring her soul. Jack rushes to her aid, pulling her away from prying hands and telling her to run for the exit. Manphibian struggles to lock the Living Mummy in Daimon’s restroom. The Son of Satan tells him to step aside before opening the door and immolating the corrupted legionnaire. Demanding explanation, he finds that death is the only help Daimon will provide to the monsters as he turns his trident toward Manphibian. Bloodstone breaks out of hell with demons hot on her tail, Jack collapsing on the ground. She fends off the minions of hell with a grenade, but finds Jack bloodied, unresponsive, and returned to human form.
