===20th Century=== In the 1940s, Electro, created by Professor Philo Zog, was dispatched across several American cities to combat narcotics syndicates. During one of these missions, Electro pursued smugglers operating out of Philadelphia. A smuggler attempted to escape by plane, carrying a fortune in drugs, but Electro intercepted him mid-air and delivered him to the authorities.
