At a coffee shop at Central City, Iris and her nephew Wally are waiting for Barry to arrive. Iris constantly asks where Barry is and Wally is trying to cover for Barry, who arrives just in time to take a seat next to them. He has a bandage wrapped around his head and Iris asks what happened to him. Barry admits he needs to tell something important to his wife and removes the bandage, revealing that he has no visible injury. Iris, however, says that she knows that both Barry and Wally share the mantle of the Flash. She figured it out because they are not as careful with their secret identities as they think they are. Wally thinks Barry and Iris have a lot to talk about, so he leaves to take Barry's place in the Justice League. Later, at the Titan-populated world, Monarch has granted the Justice League permission to use the giant airship Argo as their base of operations. Under the supervision of Rick Stanton, the Justice League evaluates their recent findings. According to data they had found at Skull Island, the Lee Shaw that had been leading Task Force X is not from the Titans' world. He actually comes from the Justice League's universe and is a member of the Human Defense Corps, an organization that wants to eliminate human dependency on superheroes. However, that does not mean that their worlds of the Justice League and the Titans are exactly replicas of each other, a fact corroborated by Jørgensen, who says that the Justice League's world contains at least ten cities that do not exist in the Titans' world. Mercy Graves, who has been brought in as an advisor, believes that Lex is working alongside Shaw to create their own Titans as a form of defense in case Titans like Godzilla and Kong return to their world. Mister Terrific has detected that, after the battle in Skull Island, Ghidorah and Rodan have gone separate ways. Ghidorah is creating a huge storm in the middle of the Pacific while Rodan has perched itself atop the Andes in South America. Two other Titans, one from Arizona and the other from Brazil, have begun moving towards Peru. Godzilla has retreated into the depths of the Pacific to recuperate after the battle with Ghidorah and Aquaman states that he will attempt to get him to work with the Justice League again. Batman has gone missing, while Superman, Wonder Woman and Supergirl have followed Kong to the Hollow Earth. Hal and Wally travel to the Pacific and traverse the storm created by Ghidorah. Knowing that the storm will only grow, the heroes dedicate themselves towards evacuating civilians. The Argo has detected movement from Ghidorah, who lands beside Rodan and emits a large sound that grabs the attention of Titans all over the world. The Argo drops Aquaman and Terrific into the Pacific and the duo travels to an underwater mountain, where Godzilla is resting. Terrific informs Aquaman that the Godzilla they are seeing right now does not remember them because the Justice League entered the Titans' world at an earlier point in that world's history. In other words, this Godzilla has not attacked Atlantis or faced the Kraken yet. Terrific advises Aquaman caution while trying to communicate with Godzilla and if Aquaman fails, they must run. Meanwhile, Kong begins his exploration of the Hollow Earth and, after climbing a rocky mountain, finds a large door in the distance. Superman's team follows Kong and finds that Lex and his allies have subjected Cheetah to the Titanizing process. Having lost any form of human consciousness, Cheetah attacks Kong and quickly incapacitates Superman and Supergirl. Wonder Woman tries to reason with Cheetah but she is knocked out by a laser beam from Lex. The battle is then interrupted by Ghidorah's call, which causes Cheetah to ignore Kong and attempt to find whoever is emitting the call. Curious, Lex decides to follow Cheetah, much to Shaw's anger. He believes the whole operation to be a failure and Task Force X to be incompetent. He threatens to kill the captured supervillains by activating the bombs in their hands, but he is stabbed through the chest by an annoyed Black Manta. At Peru, the Monarch team has detected a group of Great Apes getting close to Ghidorah, but Kong is not among them. Instead, it is a group led by the Skar King, who rides on his beast Shimo to battle. Cyborg notes that Lex's acquired Monarch data on Ghidorah from the Titan Earth's future suggests that Ghidorah is an extraterrestrial lifeform that wants to xenoform the planet to suit his needs, killing off most of the existing biosphere in the process. Martian Manhunter enters the battlefield and transforms into a large dragon-like creature, ready to confront Ghidorah.
