Unknown to Captain Marvel Junior, Captain Nazi has survived the destruction of his flagship, just barely, and now has murdered and replaced an English tugboat captain who fished him out of the sea. This ploy gets him into London. After having his sea-raider bombed out from under him by that verdammte Captain Marvel Junior, Captain Nazi needs a win, before he reports back to Hitler. He decides, while he's in town, to spread some terror. Meanwhile Captain Marvel Junior is also in London, working undercover, in his Freddy Freeman form, to smoke out a pro-Nazi underground movement taking root in the city's slums. He sees Capt. Nazi, disguised as Capt. Ames, walking down a street, and spots his real identity right away. Freddy shadows Nazi and eavesdrops as he enters an underground hangout, and forcefully takes command of it. The fifth columnists were very pleased with themselves for disabling the city's air-raid-warning siren system, but Captain Nazi orders them to go, quickly!, to restore the system, and also bring one switch unit back to the spy den. Then for the rest of that night, the Nazi agents turn in false alarms, and then visit the air-raid shelters in person, with grenades. They try to repeat this tactic the following night, but now Captain Marvel Junior is onto them, and one squad of agents is wiped out with their own grenades. Captain Nazi and Marvel Junior have another inconclusive fistfight, then each withdraws and confers with their allies. That night a large German bombing armada attacks London. Captain Nazi is aloft in an autogyro with a homing beacon, to guide the Luftwaffe to the best bombing targets. Captain Marvel Junior can also hear the homing signal, and pounces on Krieger's aircraft, wrenching loose the homing beacon, and flies away with it, drawing the bombers after him. They follow him to an area where RAF Spitfires are swarming into the air, and the raiders take some losses then are forced to retreat. Ignoring them, Junior returns to Nazi's autogyro. Captain Nazi already knows that bullets are ineffective against Marvel Junior, but this time he's got incendiary rounds, so he tries that, and it doesn't work either. Soon Captain Nazi is manhandled into captivity.
