Barry Allen tells Wally that the place they are in called Still Point, a great, never-ending storm. He explains that the energy around them is made of the "pure red stuff of life" and is the source of his powers. Furthermore, Barry and the others had their bodies destroyed by the portals that brought them to Still Point, leaving them trapped, but Wally is different; he was changed and is connected to Still Point but still alive. Barry also tells him that he can't stay and needs to return home. In Fort Fox, Elenore Thawne tries to communicate with Eobard, but he just screams "Only One!" and starts smashing the room around them. Grodd flees from the portal chamber while the Rogues fight their way in. Suddenly they realise they are no longer meeting resistance as everyone appears to be running like they're trying to get out. Digger sends a drone out for recon towards Barry Allen's lab, believing that Thawne may have taken Rudy there. As the drone approaches the lab the camera feed shows Project Olympus personnel and Grodd fleeing. The see a glimpse of Eobard Thawne and then the feed cuts out. In the lab, Thawne has transformed from the red skeletal form he had before into a great hulking beast. Trickster and Elenore Thawne take shelter in one of Trickster's force field bubbles and Trickster tells Thawne that if she can get to the portal generator she may be able to reopen it. The Rogues run in and attack Thawne; Captain Cold says they'll draw him away while Jesse does what she needs to do. In Still Point, Barry reveals to Wally that they were not the first to cross over to it, and there have been many others from many worlds. He tells Wally the story of Eobard Thawne and Jay Garrick and that they must have been changed like Wally was. Barry shows Wally Garrick's bones and then leads him to a pit in the ground, which leads into darkness and a vortex of red lightning. He explains that Thawne and Garrick were both drawn to it, but while Garrick was able to resist and eventually died, Thawne succumbed and went down, becoming the creature that he saw in the lab. Barry starts to tell Waly about Karl Schwarzschild, but Wally realises that he already knows what he's going to say, as he can "remember" things that have not happened yet. The three scientists lead Wally away from the pit before he is also drawn to go down it and take him to a region where they have been writing equations in an attempt to understand how Still Point works. Barry promises that when they figure it out they will send him home, but Wally asks what will happen if he can't, or if it takes too long and he ends up like Garrick or Thawne. At Fort Fox, Rudy convinces the soldiers guarding him to cut him loose and he runs down to the lab. Inside the Rogues are struggling to hold Thawne off while Trickster tries to repair the portal generator, but he is immune to their attacks. Glider tells Leonard to run and flies at Thawne, striking him repeatedly. Trickster manages to reactivate the portal and it starts to suck glider in. Rudy and Digger manage to pull her away and a bolt of red lightning shoots out. The lightning resolves into Wally, who defiantly tells Thawne he's done running.
