US Agent joins the team; having been appointed by Agent Sikorsky. Henry Pym, Wonder Man and Mockingbird accept it, since it was a decision made by the government. Hawkeye, however, dislikes it and tries to confront US Agent, but is quickly defeated. US Agent pinpoints that Clint has no say in the matter, as he is now a new team member, and Clint can't do anything about it. Clint says he can do something and quits the team. Mockingbird also leaves with him. Meanwhile Scarlet Witch is hiring Mrs. Hunter as a new governess for Tommy and Billy. Henry Pym calls her to come to the lab and so she goes there. Mrs. Hunter goes to the nursery of the twins, but finds that they aren't there. When Wanda arrives in the lab, Pym informs her that he had finished the reprogramming of Vision and uploaded information about Vision's past with the Avengers into him. Unfortunately, while Vision has all of the information, he doesn't have an emotional connection to it. So, when Wanda hugged Vision, he asked her why was she doing it; no longer having love for her. Pym says it is caused by one missing element; the brain patterns of Wonder Man that were originally used by Ultron for Vision's mind when he was created. Pym wanted to repeat the process, but Simon refused to cooperate. Wanda goes to Simon, confused as to why he refuses to help his brother Vision. Simon tries to explain how he hadn't had control over his own life for many years. Simon had been manipulated by Baron Zemo, then by Black Talon. His brain patterns, or his "soul", had been used to initially program Vision. Since he had no say over the use of his brain patterns, he instead accepted Vision as his brother. But now, for the first time in a long time, he can make a decision and he decided not to share his "soul" with Vision again. Even if that means that the "old" Vision is effectively dead and he is no longer Wanda's beloved husband. Wanda is heartbroken when she sees new Vision speaking monotonously, like he did when they first met, and wearing an all-white uniform instead of "old" Vision's colorful red and green attire.
