Martian Manhunter attacked Ron Gomz, who subsequently ended up in a hospital and testified to Cameron Chase, who visited him. Then, Chase and the D.E.O. decided to turn to Karen Smith's report on Martian Manhunter and to track him down. Later, they questioned Mr. Kartha, one of the witnesses of the fight between Martian Manhunter and Ron Gomz. Cameron Chase was unsatisfied with the testimonies so far before Agent Tully claimed that they dug up the remains of Denver police officer John Jones. She agreed to drive Tully to his home while contemplating the credibility of the testimonies. Then, "Tully" revealed himself to be Martian Manhunter, much to Cameron Chase's shock. Martian Manhunter revealed that the real Jim Tully had died and that she had never met him. In an attempt to convince her that he did not kill John Jones or Karen Smith, he recalled learning from Gomz' memories that there was an ebola incubator planted into his chest that was supposed to explode inside of the holding center downtown before the Martian removed phase his hand through his chest and removed it before cauterizing the wound. When Cameron Chase demanded the truth from Martian Manhunter, he flew off and claimed that it was "her job to discover it." Later, she went on her computer.
