Liquidity Floor
The 'Liquidity Floor' is the baseline price point at which a given issue and grade has consistently and repeatedly cleared secondary market transactions without material price degradation. Unlike a simple technical support level, the liquidity floor in Panel Profits specifically requires demonstrated clearing at that price -- not just an absence of trades below it -- since an issue with no trading activity at all has no meaningfully established floor.
A price level at which an asset has historically found consistent buying interest and stopped declining further is often treated by market participants as a support level or floor, useful for gauging where downside risk is limited.
Real-World Comic Market Application
If a CGC 9.2 copy of an issue has repeatedly sold in the $900-$950 range across multiple independent transactions over a year with no sale clearing materially below that band, roughly $900 is a reasonably established liquidity floor for that grade tier.
Domain Guardrails & Anti-Patterns
Do not infer a liquidity floor from a single low sale, a distressed or forced sale, or an outlier -- it must be a repeated, demonstrated clearing pattern.
