Reading this edition’s market
Compare the same cover, printing and grade before setting a bid. A raw guide or a higher-grade price does not establish a slab’s value. Include selling fees, shipping and the depth of completed-sale evidence when assessing an exit price.
The table includes 4 guide observations and 1 catalog references. These are reference values, not guaranteed sale proceeds.

Wonder Woman: "Department Store Perfidy"
At the Bullfinch Department Store, girl employees are routinely mistreated, and management has no interest in correcting the problem. Diana Prince finds out about it, confronts the manager, Mr. Googins, then confronts the owner, Gloria Bullfinch. Neither one of them is very helpful, so Wonder Woman uses her mind-controlling lariat to compel Gloria to go to work at the store.
Googins meanwhile is in cahoots with a robber, Guigi Del Slimo. They steal a pile of money out of the company safe, then attempt to blow up the store, to cover their tracks. Del Slimo's hoods go after that troublemaking Miss Prince, and they catch a break; one manages to get up behind and cosh her. They bind and gag her, stuff her in a trunk, and carry her away. She's taken to a place where Steve Trevor, also captured, is stuck inside a safe, with a bomb. Wonder Woman breaks her own bonds, disables the bomb, breaks open the safe, and captures Del Slimo.
During all this, Gloria has seen the store's terrible working conditions, and has the manager arrested. She then implements new policies, to treat the employees more fairly. | Appearing1 = **Featured Characters:** * Wonder Woman) **Supporting Characters:** * Steve Trevor) * Holliday Girls) ** Etta Candy) * Colonel Darnell) **Antagonists:** * Mr. Googins * Guigi Del Slimo **Other Characters:** * Beth * Helen Jones * Molly * Gloria Bullfinch) **Locations:** * Washington, D.C. ** Bullfinch Department Store **Items:** * Bracelets of Submission * Magic Lasso * Tiara

After a short beating, the muggers run away, and tell their boss about getting ambushed by six or eight guys in funny uniforms. Meanwhile Terrific discovers that there's gambling going on, and that the "muggers" are on the carny payroll, and also sees them get issued some pistols by their boss. He leaves, then returns, with a white overcoat added to his costume and mask, and takes a seat in the gambling tent. Being expert at card tricks and sleight of hand, Mr. Terrific quickly wins up all the money in the room, then volunteers to show the gang how he did it, then does so, razzing them the whole time. The bad guys chase him but Terrific climbs up to a high-diving platform, faster than they can, and then dives into the tank, and the gangsters don't follow that move. Then he goes back to the shooting gallery and the ring toss games, at which Terry Sloan lost earlier, and easily wins at them, because now he's not holding back. In the process he wins a ton of prizes which he immediately hands out to some random children.
