Reading this edition’s market

Compare the same cover, printing and grade before setting a bid. A raw guide or a higher-grade price does not establish a slab’s value. Include selling fees, shipping and the depth of completed-sale evidence when assessing an exit price.

The table includes 3 guide observations and 0 catalog references. These are reference values, not guaranteed sale proceeds.

Science Fiction

A science fiction magazine editor publishes a story which gets the attention of the FBI since it describes a scientific device which has proved difficult to develop. They contact the editor and wish to meet the writer, but the editor doesn't have his address. As he leaves the building, he sees the writer driving away in a cab and follows him. At the door of the writer's house the editor looks down and sees alien feet. The writer pulls him inside and tells him that Saturian people can assume Earth form, but it is irksome and he was relaxing. Now that the editor knows of their impending invasion, he must be eliminated. The FBI have followed and they shoot the alien before he can kill the editor. The editor returns home, and unknown to him, his wife is a Saturian relaxing in the bedroom assuming its natural form.
