Reading this edition’s market

Compare the same cover, printing and grade before setting a bid. A raw guide or a higher-grade price does not establish a slab’s value. Include selling fees, shipping and the depth of completed-sale evidence when assessing an exit price.

The table includes 3 guide observations and 0 catalog references. These are reference values, not guaranteed sale proceeds.

Farley's Other Face

A man steals a thousand dollars from a recluse that he had pretended to befriend, then pays to have his looks altered and fingerprints removed to avoid trouble with the police. It turns out that the wealthy recluse died shortly after the theft and left the thief his money, but he has no way to convince authorities that he was that man.

A man gives a prisoner time-traveling pills in exchange for the knowledge of where the bank roll is hidden because he knows the past can't be changed. The prisoner thinks he will be able to go back in time and behave differently, so he agrees to the deal, but finds that he does the exact same things and will have to serve his sentence all over again.

When two jewel thieves attempt to steal a cursed diamond they find themselves aged prematurely.

Scientists are driven off the moon by lifeforms that they themselves engineered to live without oxygen so as to colonize the moon.

This story postulates that the first humans were actually Martians whose spaceship developed engine trouble.

A fight manager has his wife stolen from him when he signs up a Venusian who can disappear in the ring at will.
