Reading this edition’s market

Compare the same cover, printing and grade before setting a bid. A raw guide or a higher-grade price does not establish a slab’s value. Include selling fees, shipping and the depth of completed-sale evidence when assessing an exit price.

I Fought the Idol King

James Peters is suspected of murder, and his only alibi is a photo of him taken near the Idol of Sagong in Nepal on the night of the murder. His attorney Leary travels there to prove his innocence, but the headman of the nearby village insists that nobody has ever approached the Idol of Sagong and lived. Indeed, when Leary tries to get close the idol shoots lasers from its eyes at him.

After a perilous climb, Leary discovers that the headman and the cohorts are faking the Idol of Sagong's powers to steal offerings from the native people. Leary beats them all up and proves James' innocence after finding the discarded flash bulb he used to take the photograph.

| StoryTitle2 = The Aliens Who Framed Me | Synopsis2 = Strange destructive events begin occurring within a city. Brett Conroy, an amateur inventor, discovers that the culprits are a group of alien scientists that messed up one of their experiments. Not wanting to be caught, the aliens start causing destructive events around Brett to make it seem like he's responsible, and the police find the idea of aliens too silly to consider.

Noticing that the destructive events didn't interact with anything made of gold, Brett realises that the aliens are allergic to gold and builds a gold dust-shooting device to drive the aliens off, proving his innocence to the police in the process.

| StoryTitle3 = We Tracked the Beast from the Deep | Synopsis3 = Fighter pilots Dan and Stew are flying over the South African Coast when they're menaced by a giant amphibian sea monster. The monster destroys several warships and proves immune to bombs, but flees back into the water after explosive fuel tanks are detonated near it while on land.

Dan and Stew go around warning people in the region the monster is expected to re-emerge in and discover that a boat of scientists had found a smaller specimen of the same species earlier. The baby is freed as the monster approaches and both become docile.
