Reading this edition’s market
Compare the same cover, printing and grade before setting a bid. A raw guide or a higher-grade price does not establish a slab’s value. Include selling fees, shipping and the depth of completed-sale evidence when assessing an exit price.
The table includes 8 guide observations and 1 catalog references. These are reference values, not guaranteed sale proceeds.
Graded population

I Was a Stand-in for an Alien
A prolific broadway actor, while taking a vacation to the woods, chances upon two aliens: a criminal named Vark and a law enforcement officer named Marn. The actor stops Vark when he tries escaping and takes a wounded Marn back to his lodge to rest.
Vark and his three henchmen have kidnapped scientists from their own world and are holding them for ransom. As Marn is injured, the actor volunteers to use his acting and makeup skills to disguise himself as Vark. The actor successfully gets past Vark's henchmen and frees the scientists, but discovers that they plan to kidnap some human scientists as well.
The actor chases after the aliens and gets shot at, as they think Vark is trying to take all the loot for himself. Before they kill him, the alien scientists arrive and stop the criminals by using a gravity-resisting gas they created from simple chemicals.
| StoryTitle2 = I Was One of the Little People | Synopsis2 = Bart, a foreign correspondent, returns to America after hearing that his friend Professor Schneider and his assistants have vanished. After investigating Schneider's estate, Bart discovers the professor and his assistants living in a miniature town in the woods. They explain they've been testing if shrinking technology could solve future overpopulation.
Suddenly, the neighbour's dog attacks the city and grabs the shrink ray, shrinking Bart down before running off with it. They make chase for it at miniature size, facing various perils, until the scientists start to feel the negative effects of being shrunk so long. Only Bart and the miniature dog Spot are left to go on. Spot manages to distract the big dog so Bart can sneak into his kennel and retrieve the raygun.
| StoryTitle3 = I Became the Sun Creature | Synopsis3 = Elsa French hires Mr. Leaf, proprietor of Top Leaf Private Investigation, to investigate her father. She thinks it’s suspicious that he's secluding himself with work at his lab in the woods. Mr. Leaf infiltrates the forest and finds Dr. French at work on some sort of ray, as well as the odd sight of several gorillas performing construction work like humans.
Before he can investigate further, Mr. Leaf suddenly passes out. He awakens in the middle of the desert and finds that everything around him suddenly bursts into flames. He hightails it towards the nearest city, but it suddenly starts melting too, and Mr. Leaf realises that he's become some kind of heat-producing monster.
After several unsuccessful attempts to extinguish himself, Mr. Leaf heads back to the laboratory only to find his own unconscious body on the ground. He realises that the machine must be a body-swapping device, but that due to drawing upon light rays it must've drawn down an alien being that lives on the sun and swapped his mind with its own.
Mr. Leaf has the scientist reverse the machine, and the now-unconscious sun creature stops producing heat. The military uses a missile to launch the alien back into the sun, while Mr. Leaf scores a date with Elsa.
