Reading this edition’s market
Compare the same cover, printing and grade before setting a bid. A raw guide or a higher-grade price does not establish a slab’s value. Include selling fees, shipping and the depth of completed-sale evidence when assessing an exit price.
The table includes 8 guide observations and 0 catalog references. These are reference values, not guaranteed sale proceeds.

The Vengeance of the Element Man
While performing an aerial maneuver, the Blackhawk Squadron) spot a mammoth man made of diamond rampaging. He destroys a family's house and wrecks the countryside. The Squadron lands to investigate and they find a man leaning against a tree who tells them that the diamond monster ran away. They pursue him but come up empty-handed. When they interrogate the other survivors, they find a photo in the wreckage of the tipster: it's miner Guy Masters) who died a week ago in a cave-in.
He has been transformed into this elemental monster and is seeking revenge on his former co-workers whom he blames for his accident. The Blackhawks intervene before he can kill another in the form of a sulphuric beast. When they try to apprehend him, he turns into water and dematerializes in a pond. He returns as an iron giant and attempts to kill the Blackhawks. They have already done their research and have a mercury-based chemical solution that can dissolve the iron. Masters flees in fear and reverts to his human form. When the Squadron catches up to him, he is trembling in fear, butted up against a rock and morphs again. This time, he takes on the properties of the meteor he was touching and goes on a tear again.
Several of the Squad members get into the Hawk-Copter to lure him back to the cave where he originally transformed. Blackhawk) is waiting and exposes him to the mysterious green gases that first mutated him. They cause him to pass out and when they drag him from the cave, he has no memory of the past week.
