Reading this edition’s market

Compare the same cover, printing and grade before setting a bid. A raw guide or a higher-grade price does not establish a slab’s value. Include selling fees, shipping and the depth of completed-sale evidence when assessing an exit price.

The table includes 9 guide observations and 0 catalog references. These are reference values, not guaranteed sale proceeds.

The Origin of Captain Action

At an archeological site in central Spain, Clive Arno discovers some mysterious coins that give him superpowers. These are the coins of the Elders of Apsu. Arno's partner Krellik tries to steal the coins. Failing this, Krellik discovers the coin of Chernobog, the Slavic god of evil. Krellek follows Arno back to Metropolis where the confrontation between the two men continues, and is witnessed by Superman. Captain Action then follows Krellik to Greece where Krellik is in search of the Tokens of the Three Furies (Alecto, Tisiphone and Megaera). The issue concludes with a defeated Captain Action unconscious on a beach.
