Reading this edition’s market
Compare the same cover, printing and grade before setting a bid. A raw guide or a higher-grade price does not establish a slab’s value. Include selling fees, shipping and the depth of completed-sale evidence when assessing an exit price.
The table includes 9 guide observations and 1 catalog references. These are reference values, not guaranteed sale proceeds.
Graded population
CGC records 83 graded copies for Tower of Shadows #5 (1970). Population is the number recorded by this grading source, not the total print run or all surviving copies.
The Demon That Devoured Hollywood!
Jason Roland is a successful horror actor who relied heavily on his incredibly life-like monster make-up, delivered by an emissary of the devil. He made use of the emissary's make-up talents, after having accepted the deal with a handshake, but scoffed at the small emissary and his request for Jason's soul and eventually kicked him out. However, when one day he tries to remove the "make-up" he finds out that it can't be removed and he must therefore remain trapped in the skin of the monster he had been portraying in the movie.
