The Fast Gun!
Riding into action the Outlaw Kid captures an entire gang of outlaws tying them to a tree just as the sheriff of Caliber City and his posse arrive. After turning them over to the sheriff, the Outlaw Kid rides to his hidden valley where he changes back into his civilian guise of Lance Temple and returns to his fathers ranch. There Zane and Lance's girlfriend Belle are waiting for him and that they have already heard the news about the Outlaw Kid's latest round up of outlaws. As usual, Belle wishes that Lance could be more like the Outlaw Kid, and Zane reminds her that he had Lance swear never to use violence to solve things. Belle apologizes but Lance brushes it off, offering to ride her into town.
When they arrive they are just in time to see an outlaw named Osborn shoot a man who drew guns on him inside a saloon. As the locals come to see what happen, they accuse Osborn of goading the man into a fight. When Belle sees that Lance won't do anything about the situation she decides to give Osborn a piece of her mind. But Lance does step in, telling Osborn that one day someone with faster guns than him will beat him out, Osborn tells Temple that anyone can try him anytime.
Later that night Lance decides to take Osborn up on his offer -- as the Outlaw Kid. He changes into his costume and rides out to the local saloon where Osborn is still drinking and shoots the shot glass out of the outlaws hands and challenges him to a draw. Seeing that he is out gunned, Osborn grabs one of the patrons and uses him as a hostage to slip out the back door of the saloon and gets away, dumping his hostage as he rides off.
The Outlaw Kid mounts his horse Thunder and chases after Osborn, following his trail outside of town. Osborn hides out behind a rock and tries to get the drop on the Outlaw Kid, but the Kid dodges the shot and kills Osborn with his guns. The following morning, Lance wakes up to his father telling him the news about how Osborn was killed by the Outlaw Kid. When Lance asks how anyone could have known, Zane tells his son that he couldn't know about how men like the Outlaw Kid operate.
