Reading this edition’s market
Compare the same cover, printing and grade before setting a bid. A raw guide or a higher-grade price does not establish a slab’s value. Include selling fees, shipping and the depth of completed-sale evidence when assessing an exit price.
The table includes 6 guide observations and 1 catalog references. These are reference values, not guaranteed sale proceeds.

The Man from the Panhandle!
The Ringo Kid comes to the aid of a man along the Texas Panhandle who is being gunned after by the Darrow gang. Thanks to the cover fire that the Kid has provided, they managed to force the outlaws into retreat and the man thanks Ringo for his help. Darrow is furious over the Ringo Kid's interference and orders one of his men to trail the outlaw hero.
In the town of Black Boulder, the trail spots the Ringo Kid and pays a man named Snake Stevens to find out information and learns that he has been trailing the legendary Ringo Kid. This information they go back to Darrow and tell him that the only way to draw out the Ringo Kid is to give news that his father is in trouble. Darrow sends Snake to tell the Ringo Kid a false story about how his father is in trouble in order to lure him into a trap. However this witnessed by the man who Ringo saved earlier. Realizing that the Kid is going to be lured into a trap, he follows after him.
Along the trail, the man catches up with the Ringo Kid and warns him that he is heading into a trap. The two men then work together to get the drop on the Darrow and his gang and out shoot them until they surrender. In the aftermath of the battle the Ringo Kid learns that the man who saved him is a Texas Ranger, but despite the fact that Ringo is an outlaw, he allows him to go free.
