The Last Warning!

The Ringo Kid has set up camp when he is suddenly ambushed by a lawman. However the sheriff is not there to arrest him but to ask for his help. He explains that to most he is known as Pat Howland the sheriff of Calope, but he was once an outlaw named Pony Clanton before he reformed. He explains that his old gang managed to track him down and asked him to rejoin them or have his secret exposed. Refusing to join up with them he decided to leave town and quit as sheriff. Finishing his tale, Pat tosses his star into the fire that the Kid had set and begins to walk off. The Kid however recovers the star and tires to tell him tat running from his troubles is too late, but he is already long gone.

The Ringo Kid instead goes into the town of Calope and finds that it has been over run with outlaws and has turned into a lawless place. The Ringo Kid, wearing the sheriff's badge, begins cleaning up town locking away every outlaw he crosses paths with. He later confronts the gang's leader, Bull Morgan, ordering him and his men to leave town before sun-up and leaves. However Bull refuses to give up, ordering his men to gather so they can face the Ringo Kid in the morning. However when they arrive at dawn, they are surprised to see that the new sheriff has put up a "gone fishing sign" and decide that the Ringo Kid has turned coward on them.

However when they go to the local saloon to celebrate, the Ringo Kid arrives tossing the catfish he caught into Bull's face and the and then easily shoots the guns out of the outlaws hands forcing them to flee town. With the town cleaned up, the Ringo Kid convinces Pat to return to town and resume his role as sheriff.
