Supergirl: "Bride of the Stars"

Long time ago, a baby named Ranar was born on an alien world, and an astrologist announced that, according his calculations, a female had been born on another world at the exact moment of Ranar's birth. Ranar is already endowed with great powers thanks to their solar system's star-cluster, but should he bond with his star-mate, Ranar would become all-powerful. Years passes until Ranar becomes a teenager and decides to leave his planet in search of his star-mate.

In the present day, Supergirl) has decided to visit her parents in Kandor. To her shock, her fathers have forgotten about her altogether, and every record of her existence has been erased. Distraught, Supergirl goes back to her job as a student counselor in New Athens Experimental School.

Shortly after, Supergirl saves an observatory which had been set on fire by Ranar to draw her out. Supergirl engages him, but she soon discovers Ranar isn't a pushover. Kara demands explanations, and Ranar tells hes been looking for her because she's destined to be his star-mate. In his quest he reached Argo City right after Kara was sent off, but he was identified as a Hakawee, and Zor-El) and Allura) refused to tell him where Kara was or let him save them. Ranar tried to follow her Kryptonian Rocket through space, but a meteor shower hit his spaceship, and he lost her trail while he repaired his vessel. Sill he managed to find her thanks to his mystic divining rod. Ranar keeps explaining that according the star-cluster governing his people, his power will be unlimited when they're married and he'll be free to start out a campaign conquest. He is already absorbing her power through his mystic rod, but the process will not be complete until they are officially married.

Supergirl tries to stay away from him, but Ranar places a force field around the area. Kara slips away and dons her Linda Danvers' identity to disguise herself. Then she remembers the Hakawee are a race of amoral barbarian warriors, and deduces her parents found out Ranar was coming to Earth, so before being tracked down, they temporarily erased all knowledge of her existence from Kandor.

Meanwhile, Ranar begins turning everyone into his mindless slaves. Eventually his rod undoes Supergirl's disguise. Kara tries to fight him off, but at the end she agrees to surrender under two conditions: he'll return the people of Santa Augusta back to normal and he'll give her one hour to say goodbye to the Earth. Ranar agrees.

One hour later, Supergirl returns and both leave. Several hours later they are nearing Ranar's homeworld when he checks his star charts again, and all of sudden he states the stars are against their marriage. Ranar commands her to leave at once, and Kara is happy to oblige.

As Supergirl streaks back towards Earth, she remembers how she gathered enough space debris to blot out one of the stars in the Hakawee's star-cluster, so changing his charts. Later she heads back into Kandor and meets up with her parents, who remember her again.
