Guy Gardner Reborn

After a one-sided fight against Lobo), Guy Gardner) yields and convinces Lobo to help him invade Qward and steal the "most powerful weapon in the universe": Sinestro)'s Power Ring. Guy lies and says that Lobo can keep the ring, while he's contempt on getting revenge on those who humiliated him.

A sadistic training session later, Lobo and Guy take off to the Poglachi planet, where they find the two Weaponers that can take them to Qward. Guy asks Lobo for an extra jacket so the Qwardians can't see all the bruises and blood on his arms, and Lobo throws him an extra one, reeking with the blood of Lobo's victims. They finally find the Qwardians, and Lobo tortures them until they reveal the Emergency Hook that will take them to Qward. A Thunderer activates the wormhole that takes them to the Antimatter Universe.

They arrive on Qward, in the middle of a sanctuary where the Weaponers built an idol to the "Red Man." Lobo and Guy fend off against the Qwardians, and Guy destroys the fire-spitting statue of Sinestro. They head straight to the tower of the Chief Weaponer). When Guy demands him to give him a ring like Sinestro's, The Qwardian explains that it's one-of-a-kind and that they never retrieved the one Sinestro had. Guy then realizes that it must be still on Sinestro's body, kept somewhere on Oa. They force the Chief Weaponer to activate the teleporter to take them to Oa. As they get engulfed in the yellow glow of the transporter, Guy realizes that there's a whole army of Qwardians with them, ready to invade and destroy Oa.
