Blood Ties
Clark and Lois, along with Perry and Alice, attend a magic show at the Morpheus. Although the first act is run-of-the-mill, Clark is astonished to see that the second act, a man calling himself "The Lock", seems to be genuine.
Another vampire killing occurs at the Clinton Street Deli, and Jimmy's acquaintance Babe is revealed to be the culprit. She returns to Lock's apartment, where the magician is practicing his powers. Lock realizes that Babe's presence somehow stabalizes his control, but is unnerved by a sinister shadow in human form which seems to lift from her body.
While Superman is attending to a major wreck at the Swansboro Bridge, Jimmy meets Babe at her request, only to be bitten by her. When Superman arrives, she disappears into a mist.
