Jubilee's Top Ten Reasons Why Emplate Is A Loser!
X-Man Bishop saves the day! Bishop has responded to Monet's call for help. Bishop holds Emplate's henchman Vincente at gunpoint. Bishop further overpowers Murmur, another of Emplate's henchmen. Bishop prepares to kill the fallen villains when Monet asks Bishop to be merciful as Emplates' minions are under his thrall. Bishop is unmoved and describes the hordes of vampiric Emplates that roam the streets in Bishop's future timeline.
Jubilee continues to ridicule and taunt Emplate until he angrily feeds on her and absorbs her powers, Just as she planned, Emplate is unable to control Jubilee's pyrotechnic powers. A massive explosion from Emplate frees the Generation X team. Stunned, Emplate grabs Penance and teleports across campus. Bishop battles Emplate. Penance intervenes, slashing Emplate with her claws. Emplate retreats, teleporting away, Chamber frees Gayle Edgerton and forgives her for allying with Emplate. Banshee notices that Everett (Synch) is absent. Monet deduces that Emplate enthralled Synch and sent him to St.Louis to kill his family.
