Reading this edition’s market
Compare the same cover, printing and grade before setting a bid. A raw guide or a higher-grade price does not establish a slab’s value. Include selling fees, shipping and the depth of completed-sale evidence when assessing an exit price.
The table includes 8 guide observations and 1 catalog references. These are reference values, not guaranteed sale proceeds.
Graded population
CGC records 3 graded copies for Generation X #19 (1996). Population is the number recorded by this grading source, not the total print run or all surviving copies.
Don't Wait Up...
Emma has transported the Generation X students to her Canadian estate. Emma shelters them from the Onslaught takeover of much of the northeastern United States. Emma keeps her students telepathically giddy as they enjoy the respite from the X Academy’s rigors. Emma is well-intentioned, fearing her young students could perish as the her Hellions students did years ago.
Toad (Mortimer Toynbee) has been a welcome guest of Emma’s, but Toad sets himself up as the uninvited monarch of part of her estate. Toad controls the frogs on the grounds, as well as some of Emma’s servants. When Toad further tries to control the Generation X students, Emma intervenes. Emma reminds Toad what it was like when he was mistreated and lorded over by Magneto long ago.
Sean (Banshee) recruits Canadian Alpha Flight Doctor Walter Langkowski (Sasquatch) to help him locate the Generation X students. When Sean and Sasquatch arrive on Emma’s estate, telepathic Monet has persuaded Emma to end her telepathic control of Generation X. Sean and the students forgive Emma, believing Emma was influenced by Onslaught.
