Shipwreck, Part One
A cartel has hired Lord Demise to free General Ramirez before he can stand trial in Florida. Batman tries to capture them before they can act, but Lord Demise and his men escape in a helicopter. He shoots the two men who didn't reach the helicopter in time so they can't talk, and one only manages to tell Batman where Lord Demise will strike next before dying.
He plans to hijack a Caribbean cruise and Halloween party attended by America's wealthiest, which Bruce Wayne happens to be invited to. Lord Demise ties up Captain Kensington and kills the guards, and he informs the Coast Guard that he will begin killing hostages unless General Ramirez is freed.
To prove his point, he orders his men to kill Bruce and his friend Justin Thomas first. Bruce punches the man who grabs him and jumps overboard, stripping down to his Batman costume as he swims. He gets back aboard the ship and fights Lord Demise's men, taking out three of them.
Lord Demise is furious and derails their plan to free General Ramirez in order to kill Batman. He tells his men to wire the main ballroom with explosives. Batman comes across one group as they set up the explosives and accidentally sets some off. They direct him to the bomb in the engine room.
After disarming the bomb, Batman goes to confront Lord Demise, who tells him there was more than one bomb in the engine room. He blows it up via remote control.
