Prey or Hunter, Hunter or Prey
Terry is out with Dana and Max and convinces them to go to dinner on his night off. He is stung by a dart and instantly feels the effects. He realizes something is off and goes to put on the suit. He finds he was poisoned by Stalker and the two engage in combat. Stalker makes Batman exhaust his gadgets while talking about the dynamic of predator and prey. Terry is able to hear Stalker's heart beat and feels stronger. Stalker pins him but Batman fights him off and breaks his metal spear. Bruce shows up in the Batmobile to support Terry and Stalker uses the chance to escape.
Bruce identifies the dart as a geno-steroid coctail meant to amplify Terry's senses, strength, and agility to incredible levels. Terry assumes it was to make him a better challenge for Stalker but Bruce is unsure, he throws the dart at Terry's back and Terry is able to hear the dart and catch it out of midair with his heightened reflexes. Bruce reveals the dart also had a fast-decaying radioactive isotope inside that would not be a danger to Terry's health.
That night at the McGinnis home, Stalker shows up but is ambushed by Terry who was expecting him. After a quick brawl Stalker reveals he tagged Batman with radiation to make him more appetizing bait for their mutual target, Blight.
Stalker explains Blight survived his last battle with Batman and was carried to a volcanic island by the currents. Stalker studied him and his habits and learned he craved radiation when he dove into a long abandoned ship to harvest its radioactive materials before returning to Gotham.
Blight confronts Batman who calls him "Powers". Blight denies this and reveals he has lost most of his memories, knowing himself only as Blight and has memories of Batman defeating him. Blight knocks Batman into a refinery and is able to pin him, regaining memories about Batman "creating" him. Batman reveals he killed innocent people which Blight rejects claiming there are no innocents. Batman then calls to Stalker who reveals the trap and pours molten lead onto Blight, trapping him.
Stalker and Batman talk about the dynamic of hunter and prey with Terry confirming he is neither, instead he claims "I am Batman." Stalker confirms their natures and reveals Blight is prey, his prey, as he electrocutes Batman. When he awakens Stalker and Blight are gone. Stalker returns to his lair to add the lead-encased Blight to his collection of hunted prey.
