Price history & market evidence

Price observations belong to this edition. Guide estimates, catalog references and completed sales are separate kinds of evidence.

Reading this edition’s market

Compare the same cover, printing and grade before setting a bid. A raw guide or a higher-grade price does not establish a slab’s value. Include selling fees, shipping and the depth of completed-sale evidence when assessing an exit price.

The table includes 1 guide observations and 0 catalog references. These are reference values, not guaranteed sale proceeds.

| Notes = * The events shown on pages 5-9 of this issue take place one day before the events shown on pages 1-4, making it an internal flashback. It is the only flashback in this issue. * According to the Marvel Chronology Project, the story in Midnight Sons Unlimited Vol 1 3 takes place between pages 13 and 14 of this issue. A more accurate statement would be that that story takes place between pages 13 and 16. This means that Vicki and Jinx must travel to New York City, battle Spider-X) alongside seven other heroes, and return to New Hope, all in less time than it takes Sam Buchanan to travel (by plane and by car) from New Hope to Perfection) and back. ** Louise Hastings and Sam Buchanan don't appear in that MSU story. Jinx explains their absence to Vicki by stating that "Grandma Louise is still in Rome and Buchanan's at Interpol." However, as shown in this issue, Louise is actually still aboard the plane taking her to Rome and Sam is on a mission that has nothing to do with Interpol. * On page 4, the Dwarf seemingly breaks the fourth wall by speaking to the readers. * In this issue, Vicki Montesi becomes the first of the Darkhold Redeemers to actually meet the Dwarf. * Monstrosity) attacked four people before it arrived in New Hope. The fact that the newspapers knew to call it by that name indicates that one of its first two victims, Dylan Powelson, must have survived its attack, at least long enough to tell somebody that the creature had said "Monstrosity" to him before it left. Brenda and Marine Private First Class Bob Plunkett both had their lives drained from them and were probably killed by that process, and the unnamed motorist did die but it's unclear if he died because his life-force had been drained. | Trivia = * When this story was published in 1993, the Adams Morgan neighborhood in Washington, D.C. was known as "Adams-Morgan." The hyphen was officially dropped in 2001. | Recommended = | Links =
