| Notes = * The end of this issue leads directly into Nightstalkers Vol 1 14 which begins the 17-part Siege of Darkness crossover, the third and final Midnight Sons) event. * According to the Marvel Chronology Project, the story in Morbius: The Living Vampire Vol 1 13 takes place between pages 21 and 22 of this issue. That placement is necessary because, for Morbius), the events in Morbius: The Living Vampire Vol 1 1315 also lead in to the Siege of Darkness. ** It was presumably also during this gap that Louise Hastings called Vittorio Montesi and confronted him, then wrote the letter to Doctor Strange) in which she reveals Vicki Montesi's true paternity. Vicki will find that letter in the ruins of the Sanctum Sanctorum and read it in Marvel Comics Presents Vol 1 145, Part 11 of the Siege of Darkness event. * In this issue, Sam Buchanan becomes the second member of the Darkhold Redeemers to meet the Dwarf and be given a black envelope containing a Darkhold page. However, unlike Vicki, Sam didn't use the page, something that adversely affected the Dwarf's appearance. * Louise Hastings tells Vicki that Monstrosity is a part of her and that the life-force that the creature devours becomes the life-force that Vicki uses to heal. That is the reason why Vicki is able to destroy Monstrosity. * Exactly what happens to Nash in this issue is unclear. Some people believe that Nash dies in this issue, moments after convincing Vicki to reject her new Darkhold-given healing powers and destroy Monstrosity, as stated in Vicki's profile in King in Black Handbook Vol 1 1.
