Combat Kelly

Combat Kelly and Cookie Novak are participants in a front line shooting match with the Chinese army that sees a an entire army of enemy soldiers wiped out. With the area cleared of enemy combatants, the soldiers then begin laying out land mines to secure the area. However when their supply begins running short, the commanding officer orders Kelly and Novak to accompany a truck with a fresh supply onto the battle lines.

Along the way, a Chinese fighter plane strafes past them destroying one of the trucks in their convoy. The pair manage to get away from the jet but when they arrive at the front they find that all their fellow soldiers have been killed and that the enemy is advancing upon them unimpeded.

Grossly out numbered, Combat quickly comes up with a solution: Using an inner tube they found in the truck, they begin launching land mines at the enemy, quickly wiping them out in a series of explosions. With the enemy wiped out, the pair survey the destruction before walking back to camp.

However, before the killing strike can be made, Kelly rolls forward and down a hill. At the bottom he is assisted by a Korean woman who unties his ropes and helps him hide in a nearby cave. The two then work together to cross over enemy lines to get back to Kelly's station. There he tells Major Thorn that the woman helped him escaped and that his entire unit was wiped out.
