Rendozzo reveals to Jack Marlowe that she has full knowledge of his identity as Spartan and all information relating to the Kherubim and Khera, in which she blackmails him into having her as a "business partner" into helping her for personal matters or risk having his alien origins spread to the public that could destroy Halo and derail its humanitarian goals.

The next day, Dolby is seen with some bruises to his face from his encounter with the Beef Boys. He receives a phone call from Sam Garfield, who is terrified of his employment at his new firm, as he tells Dolby that there is something very strange about his accountants working under him and is willing to bring his own gun to his workplace for his protection.
