Today We Choose Faces

In Gotham City, Superman), Batman), and Wonder Woman) meet with Sandra Kincaid) at Jason Blood)'s apartment to figure out how they will find Blood. Elsewhere, in the city, Morgaine le Fay) controls Etrigan) with her magic to make him begin destroying things and terrorizing people. The heroes all sense the nearby disturbance and head off to check it out, with Kincaid in tow.

Under Morgaine's spell, Etrigan hurls a bus into oncoming police cars, and two officers are almost killed before Superman saves them, flinging the bus into the air and sending Etrigan flying. Morgaine threatens to control the Kryptonian, but Batman observes that it must be a strain for her to use her magic to control others while making herself look young simultaneously. Morgaine reveals her true, horrifically aged and decomposed form to the group. Wonder Woman wraps her up in the Lasso of Truth, but Etrigan backhands her and engages the heroes. Superman and Wonder Woman chase Etrigan across several rooftops, and their battle causes severe damage to several buildings that sees rubble plummeting towards the civilians below.

Meanwhile, in Quebec, a man named Joshua and a woman named Miss Sommers seemingly perform a miracle for a starving food kitchen and give food to hungry, homeless citizens.

Back in Gotham, Superman sees Batman nearly crushed by debris, but he survives. Batman catches up to Randu) and Anjeli Singh), and Randu appraises him of the situation with Etrigan that he may be able to use his amulet to cast a spell and change the demon back into Jason Blood. Superman and Wonder Woman continue to battle Etrigan in the street while police watch, and Batman swings in and hooks his legs around the demon, throwing him into the air and allowing Randu to cast his spell. Jason Blood reappears, but his mind is still diminished and he attacks the Caped Crusader. Randu, witnessing this, realizes that Blood's spirit has been hiding inside himself, and Blood returns to his body now that it is safe. The group turns its attention to Morgaine, now restrained with Wonder Woman's lasso, and they try to figure out what to do with her. Blood angrily slams her mask into her face, causing her to seemingly explode and disappear. Blood acknowledges she is most likely not dead and will return, and Batman says he is more concerned about Etrigan, as he does not like the demon being loose in Gotham. Blood agrees and resolves to take drastic measures to make sure Etrigan is never released again.
