Bad Riddance!

Luthor investigates the remains of the Sea-Tracker; his scientists conclude that it must have been sabotaged.

At his residence, Krisma) receives Superman), who wanted to speak with him. Puzzled by his complete lack of a traceable background, the Man of Steel makes clear that he is watching him.

Luthor checks on Lena), who still cries at the sight of him, leaving Luthor deeply distressed. He urges the doctors to find out what is wrong. In the meantime, one of his associates informs him that the only suspect in the Sea-Tracker sabotage is Irene Diego).

Two days later, Luthor is overseeing a test of a new method for completely neutralising nuclear waste. Irene Diego is also present at the facility, but upon spotting LexCorp operatives moving to eliminate her, she realises she has been compromised and reverts to her true identity: Marina Chavez, also known as Demolitia). Luthor's new experiment then begins to fail and a massive explosion becomes imminent. Luthor rushes to the power conduits to sever them and halt the reaction, but is intercepted by Demolitia, who explains her origins and her reasons for targeting Luthor. Despite their conflict, the two briefly cooperate to break the pipes, which, if left unchecked, would have irradiated the entirety of Las Vegas. They succeed, but LexCorp security forces Demolitia to flee before she can finish what she came for.

On his way back to Metropolis, Luthor concedes that yet another project has failed, though he takes some comfort in having identified the mole within LexCorp. However, his agent, who had kept watch over "Irene Diego" the entire time, concludes that she could not possibly have sabotaged the reactor, meaning the only plausible explanation is that there is another traitor within the fold.

Back in Metropolis, Luthor is approached by United States Marshals, who have come to question him about LexCorp's alleged weapons supply to the Quraci, information that only LexCorp's most trusted insiders would have known. Luthor's empire is at risk of collapse.

Mr. Krisma is seen wearing a sinister grin in his penthouse.
