Reading this edition’s market
Compare the same cover, printing and grade before setting a bid. A raw guide or a higher-grade price does not establish a slab’s value. Include selling fees, shipping and the depth of completed-sale evidence when assessing an exit price.
The table includes 8 guide observations and 0 catalog references. These are reference values, not guaranteed sale proceeds.
Graded population
CGC records 1 graded copies for Age of Reptiles #2 (1993). Population is the number recorded by this grading source, not the total print run or all surviving copies.
Story synopsis
The story begins with a Tyrannosaurus Rex hunting down and killing a Parasaurolophus (identified as *Hadrosaur*). It then cuts to the trio of Deinonychus out on another hunting patrol. At the side of the river, one of the dromaeosaurs spots an early fish similar to a mudskipper wriggling its way along the bank to try and get back in the water. The hungry dinosaur prepares to make a meal out of it, only to be attacked and devoured by a massive bull crocodile that had been lurking nearby. The remaining two Deinonychus continue on, avoiding a Tyrannosaurus Rex in the process. The T-Rex prepares to attack a herd of ceratopsians, but loses the element of surprise, and in the face of a deadly threat withdraws.
The two Deinonychus return to their lair, only to find that Blue Back has tracked them back to it and brutally slaughtered four of them; he escapes the same way they had, by leaping across a gorge, leaving the dromaeosaurs in the same position he had been.

| Notes = | Trivia =* Identified as a crocodilian, Deinosuchus is the second main antagonist introduced to the story. * The ceratopsian in the comic is depicted as having the frill of one species, Chasmosaurus. * The fish in the comic might be an invalid genus related to the early Eusthenopteron, although the latter did not live in the Mesozoic. | Recommended = | Links =
