Story synopsis
The story sees a pack of Deinonychus stalking an old and dying brachiosaur; when it collapses and dies, the pack tries to move in to feast, only to be confronted by mutiple other carnivorous predators, such as an Ornitholestes, a Suchomimus, a Dilophosaurus, an Oviraptor, a Carnotaurus, a Struthiomimus, and another Ornitholestes. The Deinonychus pack is totally split, as one of the raptors wants to fight the other group, but this begins to lead to a violent battle of leadership.
The surviving Deinonychus retreat to their lair in the middle of a rainstorm, only to find the Tyrannosaurus waiting for them. The predators attack, leading to all of them falling but one Tyrannosaurus to their deaths. The surviving Tyrannosaurus returns to its lair, only to find that the primate Coop had tried to hunt earlier has eaten the last remaining egg, causing the baby to become dead; with the story ending here.
The story can be best described as a war between two reptilian gangs, and sort as a species match. While many of the species, such as the ankylosaur, Deinonychus, early fish, early primate, Ornitholestes, Struthiomimus, Tyrannosaurus, and crocodilian, did not live at the same time and place as the Late Cretaceous, their familiar spots for being new animals to the time were included for dramatic effects.
