Reading this edition’s market

Compare the same cover, printing and grade before setting a bid. A raw guide or a higher-grade price does not establish a slab’s value. Include selling fees, shipping and the depth of completed-sale evidence when assessing an exit price.

The table includes 1 guide observations and 0 catalog references. These are reference values, not guaranteed sale proceeds.

Story synopsis

The story sees the Allosaurus watching a herd of Diplodocus; however, a sudden rainstorm causes him to decide to retreat to his new lair, a small cave. The main storyline of this chapter occurs in the skies overhead. After a long chase, a green Ornithocheirus is attacked and killed by a group of black Harpactognathus; it seems the two groups are rivals for prey or territory. A lighting strike causes a fire in the cliff face den of the Ornithocheirus; one of them, in a panic, winds up falling off the cliff to his death.

| Notes = | Trivia =* Ornithocheirus is portrayed as a green, featureless animal; it is also depicted as living in the Jurassic period. In reality, it was both a Cretaceous pterosaur and a vibrantly colored flying reptile. * There is no evidence that Harpactognathus was fully colored in black. * Harpactognathus and Ornithocheirus are both identified in the story as a green pterosaur and a black pterosaur. * Another Cretaceous pterosaur, Nyctosaurus, was planned to downfall the Ornithocheirus and take its place as the green pterosaur, only to result in Nyctosaurus getting cut. | Recommended = | Links =
