War on Terra
Terra) and Satanna) are fighting over an agonizing Power Girl). The battle ends when Terra catches Satanna with a stone claw and threatens to rip her eyes out if Satanna doesn't shut off the gravitational device crushing Power Girl. Satanna reveals the code and Terra rushes to turn it off and get it off Power Girl. Power Girl is hurt and exhausted albeit dazed, and a bit upset because Satanna has escaped. She is also taken aback at Terra's sudden bloodthirstiness. Power Girl and Terra return to the former's apartment.
Upon arriving, Kara notes Atlee is acting strangely but she doesn't think much of it. Right then the kid who has taken pictures of Kara suiting up returns. He wants Power Girl to come with him to pick up his comics today, scare his bullies away and help him ask a girl out. Power Girl decides to indulge him and meet him later.
Kara brings Atlee to work. As Kara runs Starrware Industries, Atlee looks around the building until it's time to pick the blackmailer kid up. Terra doesn't understand why Power Girl is entertaining the kid's wishes, but Power Girl insists he's just a kid and she'll handle that situation her way. Power Girl meets up with the kid and they head into the comic book shop. Playing along, Kara pretends to be Fisher's wife which impresses Fisher's friends. She eventually leaves with Terra to go get some food.
Power Girl doesn't know she is being watched by Satanna, who states it's time to proceed to the plan's next phase.
On her way back, Power Girl and Terra are arguing about heroes' treatment of villains—who Terra is suddenly supportive of—when they are ambushed by Manhawks. Terra resorts to lethal force right away, while Power Girl fights off several hawks that gang up on her, trying to feast on Kara in vain given her skin of steel. Both heroines fight them off.
Power Girl realizes something is wrong with her friend and wants to take her to Doctor Mid-Nite), but Terra starts a fight and threatens to reveal her secret identity and destroy her life. Power Girl forces her way through a rain of rocks and grabs Terra. She has already guessed Atlee has been taken over by Ultra-Humanite) and demands to know what he has done with her brain.
