Reading this edition’s market
Compare the same cover, printing and grade before setting a bid. A raw guide or a higher-grade price does not establish a slab’s value. Include selling fees, shipping and the depth of completed-sale evidence when assessing an exit price.

"A Change is Gonna Come"
Martin Stein) continues to conduct experiments with Firestorm (Ronnie Raymond)/Jason Rusch)) to test a theory about the changing nature of their powers. Among the experiments is one in which Stein asks Firestorm to transmute a football to plastic. Despite that Jason knows the molecular structure, Firestorm cannot compete the transformation because Ronnie does not. Stein hypothesizes that their powers are not fully functional because they are now being fueled by the mind in conjunction with the body. So any limitations in one, such as a lack of knowledge on the part of Ronnie, will limit both. Stein fears that they are undergoing a metamorphosis into a new form, that will be more powerful than they can imagine. Stein recounts to them that the experiment that led to he and Ronnie becoming Firestorm was an attempt to validate Stein’s theories on the existence of the Big Bang. Stein believed that there was an actual spark that preceded the existence of the universe. Now Stein believes that the accident did not create the Firestorm matrix, rather, the Matrix is the captured manifestation of the spark that preceded the Big Bang. He warns Firestorm that conflict between Ronnie and Jason can destabilize the Matrix, leading it to trigger another Big Bang, restarting the universe.
Meanwhile Aquaman) and Mera) are traveling underwater while Aquaman recounts Mera’s recent revelations, that she had originally been sent here for Xebel to kill him and Black Manta) has a son) who is the key to stopping her people from destroying the surface world. He asks her if she has been hiding anything else and he says that he has not. Aquaman tells Mera that he will find Black Manta’s son by himself and that he needs alone time.
Elsewhere Jackson Hyde's father takes Jackson to a secluded cabin. Jackson's father tells him that he and the woman Jackson has known as his mother are not actually his parents. Instead, he had been brought him to them by a mysterious woman. The woman brought a chest with young Jackson. His father turns it over to him and suddenly, Black Manta appears. Black Manta tries to take Jackson but Jackson and his father escape in their truck. They drive off a cliff and into the water. Jackson and Black Manta fight in the water until Siren) appears. Black Manta almost kills Jackson’s father, but Aquaman intervenes at the last moment, joining the battle.
Meanwhile, back at the lab, Jason and Ronnie hear the mysterious voice within the Matrix again. Somehow, the voice precipitates a split in Firestorm, leaving Ronnie and Jason unconscious. Finally, the mysterious voice is revealed as the Black Lantern Firestorm, who has emerged from the Matrix.
