Reading this edition’s market
Compare the same cover, printing and grade before setting a bid. A raw guide or a higher-grade price does not establish a slab’s value. Include selling fees, shipping and the depth of completed-sale evidence when assessing an exit price.
The table includes 4 guide observations and 0 catalog references. These are reference values, not guaranteed sale proceeds.

Hawkman and Hawkgirl split up with Hawkgirl saving the falling Star Sapphire and Hawkman attacking Khea as she taunts Hawkman telling him this is his last life and she will take it. Refusing to give up, Hawkman, with the Claw of Horus bonded with a Star Sapphire gem, and Hawkgirl, with her sword, strike Khea simultaneously. Miraculously, their strike separates Khea from the Love Entity in a blast of Violet Energy. The energy causes the remains of Hakman and Hawkgirl’s past incarnations to animate into zombie-like creatures. These creatures attack Khea forming a spherical prison around her made from their remains. As Khea is contained she reminds Hawkman and Hawkgirl that the cycle of reincarnation is ended and this is their last life. With that, the Life Entity’s voice is heard telling Hawkman and Hawkgirl that their mission is accomplished and their life is returned. Star Sapphire asks how they separated the Love Entity from Khea and Hawkman admits he is not sure, but it must have something to do with the Star Sapphire gem that bonded with the Claw of Horus. Star Sapphire thinks that it was their love that did it. She says that they have earned their reunion and that if they think of the one place on Earth that they want to be together, the power of their love will take them there. They do so and are teleported away.
Back in upstate New York, Dove arrives and finds that Boston’s White Lantern Power Ring has nearly reached a one hundred percent charge. When it does, Boston is transformed into a being of White Energy and the Life Entity cryptically states that Hawkman and Hawkgirl have returned.
In Saint Roch, Louisiana, it is revealed that Hawkman and Hawkgirl have been reunited on Earth in the Stonechat Museum. As they waste no time embracing, Boston appears as a White Energy spirit. Hawkman and Hawkgirl quickly realize that Boston is not in control of his actions when he points the White Lantern Power Ring at them. The Life Entity tells Hawkman and Hawkgirl that they must live life separately to live life stronger. They protest, but the Life Entity callously states that the chosen one must be serviced above all others and that this is all part of the plan. With that, the White Lantern Power Ring explodes in White Energy consuming Hawkman and Hawkgirl, leaving only Boston behind amidst their ashes.
